Pilates Mat Workout
Pilates is a great, low impact choice to exercise that increases core strength and tone, improves flexibility, minimizes the risk of back injuries, and enhances muscular control of the back and limbs. I like to incorporate Pilates movements in between weight training days in order to promote my flexibility and muscular control. Pilates movements are also a great alternative to a gym workout if you are traveling or don’t have time to hit the gym.
