What should have been the start of an awesome three weeks of racing, turned into a nightmare for Rory in Mugello.

A heavy crash early in the second practice injured Rory's right foot and destroyed his bike.

After a complete overnight rebuild by his incredible mechanics, he tested out his fitness but was caught in another rider's crash. sending him to the medical centre and out for the remainder of the weekend...

Additional scans showed Rory sustained a fracture to his talus bone meaning he's out for the next two races as well.
