One of the best things I've done is trained Mila how to calm down and get settled really quickly. This technique is also so simple, and all you need is a towel or mat to use the place command. If your dog is anything like Mila, she won't want to leave her place once she gets settled! This is great to use when you're in the kitchen, doing things around the house, and want your dog to just relax.
